Subject: Re: Seeking Exemplary Educational Examples
Hi John,
For our part, we concentrate on a particular part of education. The
part where you need to communicate what
is happening on a PC screen: e.g. IT training, product demos and such.
I invite you to look at our samples of training/demos using our Full
motion screen recording product called ScreenWatch.
We allow you to record in real time a trainer's desktop as they train in
the use of software, or for that matter, demonstrate
certain features in software. Using this technology, we have developed
a training media production service called
LearningStream. An example of a customer implementation of
LearningStream is on our website.
So if you are talking about education concerning the use of software,
ScreenWatch in our humble opinion is a must!
Here are a few specifics:
Records 800x600 16 color desktops on Windows NT
Streams them over Real G2
File footprints are very small -- 10 mb per hour of recording
Seamlessly integrates with all other RealNetwork's datatypes
(audio/video/realtext/pics etc....)
Let me know if you have any questions or would like to know more and
I look forward to seeing your write up!
Take a look at http://www.screenwatch.com
Thanks,
Brian Meyerpeter
