Subject: LiveBroadcast with Osprey100, Osprey1000, ...

We plan to have our encoding machine (with RealProducer Plus G2) at a
remote location with the
camera. Then we have the server back at our office to send the data out.

Until now we have tested capturing video with the Osprey100-videocapture
card. We produce a SureStream for different endusers. The problem is
that the size of the video is for all different audience the same. It
would be nice if the stream
for 28kbps has only 192*144 pixel and the stream for 150kbps has the
double size. So I think the only solution is to buy 2 videocapture
cards, but can I use them in the same PC?
Maybe the Osprey1000 video card is the better solution for our problem.
Does anybody have experience with these video capture cards?

I also have another question: If there is much traffic on the network
between the encoder and the server. How long will the encoder try to
reconnect to the server? I do not find a setting where I can adjust the
time or something else.

Thanks
Susanne Voller
