Subject: custom buttons to show off..
Greetings all..
I am new to this forum, so forgive me if this is an old discussion.
I am working on a project in which we want to make our own custom interface,
meaning custom buttons and sliders, to replace the not-so-slick-looking Real
versions. Does anyone out there have any examples of this they would like
to show off? We have found some examples but would like to see more.. Is
SMIL the aswer in some way, or can Java do the job?
Also, are there any know hazards of doing this for the user?
And on an editorial note, why cant Real (or Microsoft) make a design that
people would be excited to have on their desktop - Quicktime seems to have
them beat by far in this respect..
