Subject: Live Encoding G2 through Proxy

We have a remote live conference to encode and feed to our server.
Unfortunately the facility does not have an ISDN line or higher. We have
installed a Multitech Proxy Server that has 3 internal 56k modems and have
it 'bonding 3 regular POTS lines'.

We can encode using the 5.01 encoder but cannot get the G2 to encode. I've
set up a laptop to monitor the server in the office and can see a 'hit' but
a few seconds later get a cannot connect to the server message. I know the
encoder and set-up is fine as we have used it previously on other locations.

Does G@ need special instructions when going thru a proxy? I've set a user
port opening for UDP port 4040 but still no traffic is getting thru.

Any suggestions...we're 2 day into a 6 day broadcast. Thanks Greg
