I am interested in that as well. Windows NT supports 2 Terabyte file sizes?
or something incredible (or win2k will be supporting it in a few months). I
have also been searching the MS (particularly the win2k section) site for
improvements on their video for windows stff and 2gb avi file size limits.
Surely there is new software (or soon to be realeased software) that
overcomes the 2gb crap. Its so pathetic its almost comical (if it weren't so
serious). Anyone using win2k rc2 checked to see if the video software has
been updated or whatever needs to be done to fix this?
Out of interest (cause I don't actually edit large video atm) do these file
limits apply to mpeg2 or quicktime or Real? One should be able to use a
Voodoo 3500 and DVD-RAM device to caputer 3GB's of TV (a few hours program?)
directly to dvd and play it back - hence getting rid of the VCR from the
equation....
Newayz - thats what I'm aiming at for a years time - a full entertainment
computer!
Best Regards,
LiFe.
