Adam,

Reformatting the ramgen syntax doesn't work. I tried it both from "open
location" in the player and from my web page. It thinks that it's 50
seconds not 50 minutes. I even tried adding proper hh:mm:ss format, that
just confused the player and the file wouldn't play at all. This happens in
both windows and mac.

Any other ideas?

Tom,

Mac is a bit more picky about the URL. Add quotes around the times and it
should work fine. Thus:

http://video.c-span.org:8080/ramgen/gdrive/wj19991021.rm?start='50:49.5'&end
='1
:35:48.0'
