Good idea with the live webcam images.  The best way
to send these images in RealPlayer is to use the live
RealPix format.  You can find info about this in the
SDK, but we've built a product that will do just this:
PixDropper.  As far as I know, its the only live
authoring tool for RealPix.

You can set PixDropper to auto-monitor a given file
(e.g. 'webcam.jpg') and broadcast it at regular
intervals (1s, 2s, 3s, 4s ...), so its perfect for
your webcam application.  You can also set multiple
regions inside the player window (e.g. a 2 by 2
layout, etc.) and update each region with a different
webcam image to create a collage effect.  Then use
SMIL to combine the live realpix (.rp) file with
live/archived audio inside G2.  It'll also allow you
to manually drag-and-drop images files into the
environment, or watch a directory for updated jpeg
