True its not a trademark, but I think if you do not use a real server, the
SMIL file will not be streamed; it will play when all of the contents of
the SMIL file (ie audio, real pix, etc) have been downloaded.  Real
servers synchronize it as its downloaded, but since HTTP doesnt, it
must wait until everything is downloaded until it is synchronized and
played.
Correct me if I am wrong, but thats what happened to me when I tried to
HTTP stream an SMI file.
