Subject: Is it necessary to put .smil files also on your RealServer?

Hi there,

I am currently working on a presentation where I stream all media clips
from the RealServer.
I was wondering if it is Necessary for good performance to put the .smil
file on the RealServer, or could they just as well be on the WebServer?

I am asking this question since I want to make use of smil template files
which will be parsed by our WebServer. For that I have to put them on a
a WebServer.

I hope someone can help me further,

Greetings,
David van Zeventer
