However, you can also do this to a "live" audio feed with the right
processing equipment, and some times a live broadcast is more appropriate
than a processed recorded playback.
I am in the process of testing an Orban Optimod 6200, meant for the
processing of broadcast signals before they get to the transmitter, and I am
surprised how much difference it makes to the quality of the broadcast
audio, even on CD's.
It's also meant for web casting, but I hven't had enough time to evaluate
fully.
If anyone has had this opportunity, I would appreciate any comments.
