I would consider a better mic - the seinheiser 66 has a narrow frequency
response and also brings in lots of noise. What kind of audio are you
trying to record?

I have a Seinheiser ME66 Mic, a DXA-4S Dual XLR Adapter, a TRV 900 =
Digital Camera, DV raptor, and the audio still is not clean and robust
enough. I am = considering spending another $1000 to get a DAT Recorder
"Sony PCM-M1 DAT Recorder" Is this = the right choice? can anyone give me
some advice on what type of equipment is best for = recording the excellent
audio in the field?

Thanxs in advance
louis
