Nicolas,
I suggest you try to use the RealProducer ActiveX Control instead of the
RealProducer SDK to build a live broadcasting application. The Producer
ActiveX Control provides a simple interface you can use in VisualBasic or
C++ and it handles the functionality of capturing the live input, encoding
the streams and then broadcasting them to a RealServer.
It is possible to do the same thing with the Producer SDK but it will
require a lot more custom code on your part to make it work. Also, the
AVCNT sample application is a simple application intended to demonstrate
static encoding, not live broadcasting. So I'm not surprised you had
difficulty trying to convert it to a broadcasting application.
