Bruce,

Anything with a BT848 driver should work.. The drivers are there for linux
and they work fine, you'll be able to grab everything you need with some
software from Freshmeat which of course is free! :)

Thanks,

John

Subject: Linux cam

I need to setup a cam connected to a RedHat box in a store that feeds a
co-loc ( RedHat ) Real Server box. If anybody has done the same, I would
LOVE to hear how it went. At present, I am setting up a frame grabber
using V4L at the site and plan on -regular- Real Server on Linux for the
co-loc server?

I am new to Real, but have done movie animation, games, chip level
programming, etc for years. Frankly, as a newbie to Real, I am
impressed. :-)
