The answer is yes and no. No, if you want an already available tool or
method. Yes, if you are willing and able to do some coding. Basically what
you would do is to build your own Rendering plug-in to handle the SMIL data.
This plug-in would then explicitly load the true SMIL plug-in which you
would have to remove from the default plug-in directory so that it doesn't
get loaded and used instead of your plug-in. Then, in each of your plug-in
events, just call the real plug-in's events with the data passed into your
plug-in's events. But before actually passing the data on, write it to disk
or view it in your development environment.

specifically allow access, you can view the SMIL source with RealPlayer 7. ]
