There ARE versions of RealServer G2 that run on the Win95/Win98 platform. I
run it on that platform on a couple of my machines at home.  I think it's
just not anywhere near as stable as on the NT platform, and I think this
relates more specifically to it's inability to properly stream multiple high
bandwidth clips for long periods of time (some kind of thread problem), ...
though I'm not entirely sure.

According to the requirements of the Real
Server, win 9x (95/98) are not listed, just
NT and other OSes.  Does this mean that
real server wont run at all on win9x, or that
its not recommended???  IOW, can real
server g2 be run on win 9x?  Note that the
real server will only make 6.5kbps or
lower audio only streams.
