Yvan,

Below is an email that RealNetworks sent me in reply to the same question.

Hope this helps!!! It IS possible to launch RealPlayer at double size.

Michael

[ RF: Thanks for sharing Michael. And to be clear this article also
applies to RealPlayer G2 and 7.0 and RTSP URLs. ]

Hello Michael,

Thanks for sending these files.

I downloaded the files to my harddisk and experimented with the same. It
worked for me. Refer to the following information which addresses this.
This cannot be accomplished by doubleclicking on the SMIL file. You have to
create a link (.ram file), call the smil file within the same. This should
help. Please go through the same in the following article.

*********************
Optional arguments may be added to metafiles to finesse what is seen and
heard by users when they click your RealMedia link. Video playback size,
start and stop times, and the title, author and copyright information are
variables which may be altered in this manner.

The options are included in the metafile (.RAM, .RPM) following the URL to
which they apply. Options are be preceded by a question mark (?) and
separated from each other by an ampersand (&).

The syntax is as follows:

pnm://www.real.com/test.rm?[opt1]&[opt2]

where opt is a variable name/value pair separated by an equal sign (=).

The following variables are valid:

        screensize="double"
        screensize="full"
        start="dd:hh:mm:ss.ss"
        end="dd:hh:mm:ss.ss"
        title="new title"
        author="new author"
        copyright="new copyright"

For example:

pnm://www.myserver.com/welcome.rm?screensize="full"
        or
pnm://www.myserver.com/band.rm?start="7:46"&end="15:01"&title="song3"&author
="Jane
Smith"&copyright="My Music, 1996"&screensize="double"

Please note that Full Screen RealMedia will not work on all systems. Full
Screen requires MS DirectDraw drivers, which are only available for Windows
95 and NT. RealPlayer 5.0 is also required.

Morning Michael. Might I ask what syntax you are using to launch realplayer
at fullscreen? And on a similar note, ..do you know if it's possible to
launch a realvideo at double size? Is so, how?

Thanks,
