Sony Laptops are not suitable because they don't have a line in for audio (I
think the top of the range model does now), this is a serious oversight on
Sony's part: they are not Video Audio Integrated at all.
Make sure you get a laptop with a line in, my recommendation is a Dell. You
can get a USB webcam for video or a Haupegge video to USB connector. Make
sure you get a Pentium 3 laptop because the P3 chip has special routines for
enhanced streaming performance, get the fastest machine you can, and 128+ Mb
Ram.
