Unfortunately there is no way to separate different layers of a G2 file.
I myself find a need for this functionality often.
Surestream is quite a bit more complicated than the older RM format and
thus writing a tool to so this is quite a bit more complicated. I do
know that the tools group at RealNetworks has been made aware of this
need and hopefully they will have a chance to add this functionality to
a future version of the RMEditor.
