From: "Alex Nannicini" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: samples concatenation? Hello everyone, i'm trying to build some kind of a "words to phrases" voice database. This should be a serie of independent words to order into phrases according to different events and then publish the result via Real Server. I managed to concatenate more ram samples into a new one, with RMEDITOR.EXE, but the problem is that Real Producer had appended half a second at the end of each converted WAV source file, so the narration wasn't smooth at all. Here 2 big questions: 1) how can i force the encoder to respect millisecond-precisely the source file? 2) is there a faster solution than copying more rams into a new one, i mean a real-time execution without "writing" disk activity? My sick fantasy suggested one big ram containing all the words i need and a "fromHEREtoTHERE" durations database to get a non-linear tracking, provided that skipping here and there at high frequency can be reliable. Should anyone read this, please help... thanks ******************************************************* The RealForum is an email discussion group focused on using RealNetworks products.
