Subject: Stream Redirection

Hi !
Has anyone an idea whether it is possible to realize the following:
* I am developing a concept for setting up an "ambient intelligence system".
One of the key ideas behind this system is the possibility to have
wireless/ubiquitous access to a multimedia content server via wap-compliant
browserphone and to use the devices in the immediate vicinity of the
wireless device as output/rendering device.
* in other words => the classical request/response paradigm should be
enhanced in the way that the device which requests an e.g. rm stream is NOT
the receiver of this request. The server should reroute the response to a
(well known, specified by its ip-adress) device different to the requesting
device.

I would appreciate any kind of information,
regards,
Gerold,
vienna.
