Dear all, I just wrote this email to a friend of mine, and it contained some useful information for everyone so I decided to post it here, too.
To keep up on what we are doing in between releases, I think the best way is to get the commit-emails from both the server and the client. Each commit message includes log entry at the beginning where the developer describes what is being implemented. If something looks good/suspicious, you can always ask for more information from the general mailing list. Commit messages for the server: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=realxtendserver-commits In case you encounter bugs, you can report them here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=221755&atid=1053603 Commit messages for the viewer: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=realxtendviewer-commits Bug tracker: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=220608&atid=1050821 All the general feedback and feature requests should be directed to the general mailing list, that way everyone gets a change to comment and add their own views: groups.google.com/group/realxtend If you have good ideas, suggestions, feedback, criticism, a good story, please send them to this list! We also have web forums for discussions, but it seems that web forums are harder to maintain and so users should rely more on the mailing list. In case you want to contribute code patches, you should send them to the general mailing list or just contact anyone at realXtend with the patch. If you want to contribute media or content, let us know! If your patches are continuously of good quality, our tech leads Mikko and Lasse will consider giving you commit rights. Tutorials and samples are also welcome additions to realXtend media wiki. Let us know what you would like to have and we will give you edit rights there. The language for the contributions can be any, and if someone is willing to translate wiki pages that is helpful too! If you happen to have realXtend related content at your web pages, we could add the link to the wiki. Best regards, Jani --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ http://groups.google.com/group/realxtend -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
