Thank you for the reply. I will have to check out the models you
mentioned. Are they productions of realXtend team and if so can you
name any names I could talk to if I have questions about the model
details? Also that squirrel thingy sounds interesting.

My opinion is that H-Anim is a bit complex construct as it is bound to
the X3D concepts but it would be nice to have some standard bone
structure so that it would be possible to exchange animations between
models. Do you know if there are any industry standard skeletons from
say maya which is widely adopted? Alternatively is it customary in the
industry that every game and movie has custom bone structures and
tailored animations and no reuse is done?
