So, just to get me on track.. You use the telepathy framework and have/intend to put it in the client (as a channel manager, using the d-lib based client library). Maybe even using the addressbook-features ? so one could choose to have "just" inworld contacts or more ?
You now intent to use that for voice only and keep the text (IM) to the linden standard (opensim) and video is not (yet) in que. What type of server do you use at the moment , and have you had a look at decentraliced ones ? What I can offer: - knowledge about implementing network based services in a enterprise environment, incl. Voip. - knowledge about routing, security - up to compliance level as an auditor - the will to bring 3D web to RL business, what is quite related to being compliant to business rules - will to test-run setups and test whether they would pass usual requirements based on stuff like firewalls etc since i would love to see opensim/realxtend/sl-kompatible stuff spread into RL use , a voice able to work under RL enviroments is of big interest for me.. personaly Cheers, Ralf On Jan 24, 6:43 pm, Ryan McDougall <[email protected]> wrote: > On Sat, Jan 24, 2009 at 7:26 PM, Ralf Haifisch <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > Hi there, > > > i´m quite new to this mailing list.
