Hi Dave,

yeah localhost is not working for me at all on my vista64 system. It
should, and it doesn't. I get that error "unable to connect to
authentication server" when I try to log in with test defaults
([email protected]) I am using the default local settings out of the
box as far as the rexserver goes.

I'm going to try maybe port forwarding in my router settings to see if
it helps. I'm messing with ethernet as well, but that has its own
avalanche of troubles. But if I get it going over ethernet on the XP
box, that would be fine too. Getting it going is the main thing :)
