The ModreX tutorial in OpenSim wiki is quite outdated at the moment and I don't recommend of using that. Instead I would build ModreX itself from the instruction in README.txt file inside ModreX trunk. Or I would build using the Taiga build instructions.
I'm going to update the build instructions to realXtend wiki and also modify the OpenSim wiki to point to that documentation.
