Yep so indeed CAVE functionality worked ok there, no crashes when dragging the views to different displays etc. anymore. Was quite strange that it worked when against localhost, and crashed when on w.r.o:9000 -- we had to test and debug also other stuff there so that part was left as a bit of mystery. Perhaps there is something in the scene on w.r.o:9000 that caused probs? Their CAVE thing is best hosted locally and doesn't need Opensim features, so probably better to use Tundra. We figured that should enable the settings GUI and the CAVE module in Tundra builds, couldn't try it yet 'cause the current test builds don't have it included. The avatar freeze on Taiga localhost seemed to be due to avatar starting from a region corner, perhaps immediately trying to cross region boundary or something. If someone who knows opensim could tell why that sometimes happens (at least Rauli has had it too and didn't know a fix) would be nice to know .. some startpos config is borked? ~Toni -- http://groups.google.com/group/realxtend http://www.realxtend.org
