I have attempted to do a new install of Tundra 2.0 (8/31) release. We are configuring a second server for some experimenting. The installer fails after attempting to install the VC package and complains of "prerequisites" which are not installed. Do you have any idea what it might be referring to here?
Following several roundtrips to MS Update and assuring myself the OS is installed correctly I then attempted an install with the previous release, 1.0.8 using the installer at the download site. In this case the installer failed once again so I went ahead and installed the redistributable VC package directly from MS, then reran the installer in "Repair" mode. The installation completed without an issue and on attempting to start server.exe, following precisely the instructions on the blog, (including the correct command line argument precursors (--). My command: >server.exe --headless --protocol udp Resulted in the following (from the dialog box which popped up) Application Name: server.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 4df73220 Fault Module Name: MSVCR90.dll Fault Module Version: 9.0.30729.1 Fault Module Timestamp: 488ef6c5 Exception Offset: 0006c955 Exception Code: c0000417 Exception Data: 00000000 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.274.10 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: eae7 Additional Information 2: eae76f62f0e7b96e93ebfbf10a57d56e Additional Information 3: 19d4 Additional Information 4: 19d4414826a59632614e6a06924546e5 This occurs directly after OGRE begins initializing. I have done this install before and development installs on my workstation so this is a bit perplexing. Any comments\help would be appreciated.
