Except, I'm not making suggestion. I stated what I'd like to see in this product or any product. When I write proposals, I write them on spec for potential cash. Work for free? (I am not sure here, as Rebol is close to some other PK> functional languages, at least some say it :-) Well, if you ever googled and surfed the tens of dozens of web pages mentioning REBOL, invariably you read "but it's not open source" although none go as far as stating "but its not copy leftist". Those pages are dated, circa pre-DOT BOMB. dBase II, Lotus 1-2-3, Zelda, DOOM, Mario Bros., Windows 9x, 2x, etc. all are/were priced products and all made boat loads of cash. Open Source (BSD) or Copy Leftist (GNU Infinite Regress into the toilet -- it's not recursive) is irrelevant. It's not that REBOL is different either. My DirecTV DVR is different than my previous satellite receiver box, which is different than its predecessor. REBOL the product suffers from no POA ... no plan of action... See persons are clueless about the concept of strategy. A strategy is NOT a plan. It's an orientation. Either one is offensive or one is defensive. That's your strategy. Once you know that, then you devise your plan. REBOL execs position REBOL as some sort of alternative competitor to other scriptable run-times. It's not a competitor to this crap, it's superior. But as long as REBOL execs pander to computer science indoctrinateds and as long as they think of their product as a "computer" product, REBOL will suffer. The next wave of game playing computers (PS3) with new, clever UIs and the gazillion devices with cheap Chinese fabbed chips are going to render desktop paradigm obsolete.
