Unfortunately it doesn't work; I started my script by, rebol.exe -i -q -v voip.r
but it always create "public" folder in the script directory. I'm using View 2.7.6 on WinXP Pro. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf = Of Nick Antonaccio Sent: Monday, December 29, 2008 10:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [REBOL] Re: view creates "public" folder each time on windows A previous thread about this topic is at: http://www.rebol.org/ml-display-thread.r?m=3DrmlTLXC But in Windows Vista, the ability to change view/open/edit command =20 line options was removed from the default Windows app that handles =20 file associations (grrr!). Using regedit, you can change those options in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.TXT =20 and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\REBOL.Script\shell\View\command (and =20 ...\Open\command ...\Edit\command). On my machine, right clicking and =20 selecting "Open With" -> "REBOL/View System" also eliminates the =20 creation "public" folders.
