Well - a little bit of analogy - we all know that there are better OSes than W95 ...
I mean - big folks in companies, selling big products, will propagate web services,
not matter what we, small fish, are doing. Our only chance is to support THEIR
standards, or be doomed in corporate environments ....
As for public web services - I can imagine having some - why to have some clumsy cgi
web interface, if you can have fully async communication, message based? Those
messages will use XML/SOAP imo ....
