Good point. I suppose part of the problem is that it is much easier to 
measure program conciseness (which is what Reichart challenged the list 
about) than it is to measure program clarity.

And, as we all know from our school days onwards, if something can be 
measured it often assumes a priority over the things that cannot be so easily 
measured.
