Hit the rabbit
A salesman was driving his car down a country road, enjoying the scenery. He was driving past a big farm house when a rabbit ran out in front of his car. He didn't have time to hit the brakes and managed to flatten the rabbit on the road. He stopped his car and got out, worried about the rabbit. About this time a farmer in the big farm house looks out his front window and wonders what is going on. The salesman walks back to the rabbit and looks at it while scratching his head, "poor rabbit." He picks the rabbit up and shakes it but the rabbit just hangs there, it's dead. The farmer wonders, "what is that fool doing with that dead rabbit?" About then the salesman opens up the trunk of his car and pulls out a bottle. He reads the label and then pulls the cap off the top. He opens the rabbit's mouth and pours the contents of the bottle down the rabbit. The rabbit starts kicking and moving. The salesman throws the bottle off to the side and puts the rabbit down. The farmer presses his face against the front window with his mouth
wide
open and exclaims, "I don't believe it!" The rabbit brushes himself off and looks up at the salesman and waves. The salesman waves back, feeling good about his accomplishment. He closes the trunk of his car and walks to the door to get back in. He looks back at the rabbit and the rabbit waves to the salesman. The salesman waves back and gets in the car. As he drives off he looks in the rearview mirror and sees the rabbit in the middle of the road, waving. The salesman sticks one arm out the window and waves back. The farmer runs out the front door of the house and out into the
middle
of the street. He sees the car driving off and then he turns to look at the rabbit. The rabbit starts to jump into the field but he turns and waves to the farmer. The farmer waves back in disbelief. The farmer starts looking around on the ground for the empty bottle and he finds it laying off to one side. He picks up the bottle and looks at the label. Know what the label says? Hare restorer and permanant wave.
