Hi, Lora, Glad to help; I still say one of those portable dvd players will be just the thing, that is , if he has loads of movies to listen to, and oh, you might, not sure, be able to play cd's in it too, not quite sure about that, you might want to inquire as I could be wrong.
How about a little analog or digital a.m. f.m., shortwave/weather band radio?
