Apple Crisp

I served this at breakfast one morning when C.R. and Mary Lou were visiting
 in Ohio. They loved it and it's really easy to prepare.

5 to 6 sliced and peeled        3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
cooking apples                 1 teaspoon cinnamon or
1/2 cup unsifted flour           apple pie spice
1/2 cup rolled oats             1/3 cup butter or margarine

Microwave: In a 2 quart baking dish, arrange apples. Combine flour, rolled
oats, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. sprinkle over
 top of apples. Cook, uncovered, 12 minutes or until apples are tender. If
you prefer a more crunchy, brown topping, place under the broiler a few
 minutes.
