FRUIT COBBLER


1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt

Put 1 can peaches, juice & all, in a large pie pan or skillet.
Dot with butter & cinnamon.
Mix above ingredients,
crumble with hands, & sprinkle over fruit.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes. (If using fresh fruit,
add sugar for sweetening & 1 cup of water).
This makes enough topping for a small cobbler pie.
I usually use a large can of fruit & double this recipe.
My extra secret ingredient is to add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
