Cranberry Dessert
Serves 12-16
4 cups cranberries, ground
3 cups sugar + 4 TBSP
2 diced bananas
4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (reserve about 3/4 c for topping)
12 TBSP butter, melted + 1 cup butter
1 cup chopped nuts 
2 cups whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Grind 4 cups cranberries. Mix with one cup sugar and 2 diced bananas.
Mix 4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs (minus what you reserve for topping).
Take 12 TBSP melted butter and pres in 9x12" glass cake pan and cool. 
Cream 1 cup butter with 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in
one cup chopped nuts. Spread on crust and add cranberries.
Whip 2 cups whipping cream. Add 4 TBSP sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Spread on cranberries and top with reserved crumbs. 
Chill 6 hours or overnight.
