J's Pizza Casserole 2 cups of egg noodles 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil 1 pound of ground beef 1/3 cup finely chopped onion 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped (optional) 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup 1/3 cup of water 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles just like the package says. Drain & reserve. Meanwhile, heat oil on medium-high in a nonstick skillet. Add ground beef, onion & garlic. Cook over medium-high heat for 6 minutes until beef is no longer pink. Drain off excess liquid. Stir in oregano, salt, soup 1/3 cup of water & noodles. Take off heat & add half of the cheese. Spoon into an 11 X 7 baking dish & sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes until bubbly. Allow to cool for 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
