Microwave Cherry Pie 1-LB can water packed, pitted, tart red cherries 1/2 cup sugar 4 TB flour 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup dry oatmeal 1/2 cup brown sugar 4 TB flour 5 TB butter Pour liquid from cherries into Pyrex bowl. Dissolve sugar, flour and cinnamon in liquid. Microwave 1 min. or to boil. Stir. Put in cherries. Prepare topping by combining last four ingredients in another bowl. Place over cherries. Do not cover. Microwave 7 minutes. turn. notes: These cooking times are for High temperatures using a 1000 watt Micro... if yours if less, then add to time. I wasn't too sure how this would turn out. it tasted great, but not as brown as I usually like mine, so I turned on broiler in oven and browned it that way. It was done in microwave but I prefer browning a bit more. Leave under broiler to your desired browness.**
