Sauerkraut Cookies
1/4 lb oleo
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped fine
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Mix together in order given in a large bowl. Drop by tablespoonful
1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8-10
minutes. Cool on racks. These taste like coconut.
