Strawberry Glaze Recipe


In case you've eaten too much during the Christmas holiday, you can use splenda 
instead of sugar for the Strawberry Glaze Recipe.



Even though I think it's much better with sugar :-)



Ingredients



List of 6 items

. 4 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled

. 1/2 cup sugar

. 5 teaspoons cornstarch

. 1/4 cup water

. 1 tablespoon butter

. 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions



Crush enough strawberries to make 1 cup pulp. (If you don't know how to make 
the pulp, get the recipe

here.)



Place pulp in medium saucepan, add cup sugar and cornstarch. Cook over medium 
heat 2 minutes or until mixture boils, thickens and is clear, while constantly

stirring to avoid burn.



Remove saucepan from heat and stir in butter and lemon juice.



Cool to room temperature and pour over cheesecake or pie.
