Filo Dough is very thin dough that is used for tarts and other small appetizers or desserts. It comes in very thin layers and is baked four or five layers to a cup.
When I've used it, I've used a mini muffin tin to make the cups. If using it for desserts that you chill or anything else you just chill, bake the dough first. It comes out very brittle and flaky.
I'm not sure if you can use it for baked desserts.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [RecipesAndMore] question: what is Phyllo?
Hi everyone,
I am not all that experienced as some of you, so can some one please tell me
what is Phyllo?
and what do you use it for?
Is it like a pie crust?
thanks
Syl
