BEEF CURRY

12 oz top round steak 1 oz olive oil
½ lg onion
3 cl garlic
½" piece green ginger ½ T coriander
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp  mustard powder
½ tsp poppy seeds (optional)
½ tsp dried crushed  chilies
½ beef bouillon -- mix with ½ C water
½ tsp chili powder

Slice onion and garlic, mince the ginger, cut steak into small squares. Heat butter and fry meat with the onion, garlic and ginger, lower heat and add spices, chilies and beef broth Cover and simmer on very low heat for 2 hours. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Serves 2
