Ingrediants: 1/2 c. diced celery 1/2 c. diced onion 1/2 c. chopped green peppers (I use PickSweet Seasoning Blend - 1 pkg.) 2 c. cubed leftover beef (I use any meat that is convenient, but chicken most often) 1 c. cubed leftover potatoes (I use the frozen "Hash Browning" potatoes) 1 c. cubed leftover carrots (I use chopped canned, if I don't have leftovers) 1 c. green peas (Frozen work fine) 4 slices dry bread, cubed 1 c. gravy Directions: Brown celery, onions and peppers in hot fat(I use olive oil) Add meat, potatoes, carrots and peas. Add gravy and season to taste. Top with crumbs browned in butter. Bake in casserole 375 degrees, 30 minutes. Enjoy One of the qualities of a faithful friend is honesty even when the truth is painful.
