Hyena Records will release the honky-tonk singer's CD on April 24. "I got up there and basically wrote 10 songs in three days," Watson says. "At first, I was adamant about not writing anything even remotely reminiscent to Johnny Cash as I figured I'd be instantly dismissed for trying to cop his vibe, but his presence was so strong up there that I decided, 'Why fight it? Let the chips fall where they may and go with the feeling.'" Johnny Cash Duets Featured on Sister's Album Mon. January 22.2007 6:19 PM EST Johnny Cash's younger sister, Joanne Cash, will include three duets with her late brother on a new gospel album to be released Feb. 20. They sing together on "Softly and Tenderly," "Let the Lower Lights Be Burning" and "When He Comes." The album, Gospel, is Ms. Cash's 27th album release and also includes material from her past projects. The duets were recorded in Johnny Cash's cabin studio in Hendersonville, Tenn. The siblings recorded the songs approximately a year and a-half before Johnny Cash died in 2003.
