I have made this sausage egg casserole in a large casserole dish in the
oven. It's great if you're serving a large breakfast group. I make it the
night before I'm going to serve it and bake it the following morning. It's
delicious. Thanks for sharing that recipe.

12 beaten eggs
14 slices of bread
2 1/4 cups milk
2 1/2 cups grated cheddar or monterey jack cheese
1 lb sausage, cooked and drained
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp mustard, optional

Grease sides of crockpot (or spray with Pam). If
desired, spread mustard on one side of the bread &
cut bread into large squares. Make layers in the
crockpot of bread, followed by sausage, followed by
cheese, ending with a cheese layer. Beat eggs, milk,
salt, and pepper together. Pour over crockpot
mixture, cover and cook on low for 8-12 hours.
