German Apple Horseradish Sauce 
1 tart green apple, cored, peeled, and finely grated 
1/3 cup (80 ml) drained prepared horseradish 
2 Tbs (30 ml) lemon juice 
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 
1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream or plain yogurt 
Combine the apple, horseradish, lemon juice, salt, and pepper and let
stand for 30 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and serve immediately.
Makes about 1 cup (250 ml)
