One thing I found to be helpful with plastic wrap(Seran wrap, Glad Wrap etc.) is to put it in the freezer. It will roll off just perfect every time. Then slide it along the cutter and there you have it...no sticking together, no tangles, no waste and no frustrations. When your done just remember to put it back in the freezer for next time.
