I just talked to Frank's son. Frank just got out of surgery and everything
went fine so far. He is in recovery right now. He won't be receiving any
phone calls for a couple of days but Marilyn said she would call me later.
Keep praying! So far things are fine.

Chocolate-Covered Anything

Source: old magazine clipping

Basic chocolate coating may be used any number of ways. Marinate dried fruit
in liqueur, drain & then dip in chocolate or use fresh berries or whole
berries.

1 (6-oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate bits

3 tbsp shortening

60 sm pretzels or whatever

Melt chocolate with shortening in sm heatproof bowl over simmering water.
Remove from heat, but keep over hot water. 'Drop pretzels or whatever, 1 at
a

time, into chocolate. Lift out tapping lightly against side of bowl to let
excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Dry on wire rack over waxed paper.
