Ginger Ale Pound Cake

 

1/2 cup shortening

2 sticks margarine

2 1/3 cups sugar

5 eggs

2 teaspoons lemon flavoring

3 cups cake flour

6 ounces ginger ale

Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.  Add eggs one

at a time, beating well after each.  Add lemon

flavoring; add flour and ginger ale alternately.

grease and flour bundt pan, pour cake mixture in pan.

Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
