Surf and Turf
4 each steaks -- Filet Mignon
4 each lobster tails
1 cup butter -- melted and kept warm
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper -- ground
4 each lemons
Prepare the filets by seasoning with salt and pepper. Place in broiler
and broil for 8 minutes, turn and broil for an additional 8 minutes.
Remove from broiler and keep warm.
In the meantime, boil about 6 quarts of water in a large stockpot. Add
the lobster tails and cook until done about 8 minutes. Using a towel and
a good pair of kitchen shears, place the lobster tail on a flat surface
and cut through the shell, down the length of the tail.
Serve the steak and lobster on the same plate with a bowl of melted
butter
and a lemon that has been quartered.
